Thanks for stopping by my PB. Anyway, it doesnt matter what camera you use, either compact or slr, what matters here is the way you want to project your pictures. If you like it, then it is good enough. You dont have to wait for criticism or praises to come your way. Here is a little known secret amongst budding photographers... " everyone Loves their pictures no matter how bad it is" and somewhere along the way... someday, they will look back and think.. " why, this is terrible". Thats why, it is the sole reason that you must first like and truly realize that your picture is worth the criticism from the public. The picture above , it is just a cat. But you made it look good with the background and that sleepy wink ...and also the grey ash fur... but it is just a cat. Try catching the animal when it is not aware you are around, that might make a big difference. Cheers. 12 Jan 2009 12:57am @Shiva: For this shot I used a compact Nikon coolpix P5100. It's not a reflex. Thank you for your message Shiva, precious for me. Pied Crow from Nairobi, KenyaThe shiny fur coat is lovely but the image overall seems to have too many highlights and reflections to my eye. The reflection off the leather sofa in particular distracts from the subject cat. 12 Jan 2009 3:43am dan from Paris, FranceROYAL ! 12 Jan 2009 1:46pm marianne from Toulouse, from France, Franceoù est Jim ??? lol 13 Jan 2009 12:02pm Don Smith from California, United StatesI am not a real fan of cats, but you have done an excellent job of capturing the cat for what they do - sleep and relax - we should al be that lucky!!!
